On Today’s Show, it’s a family episode as we welcome Grant Murphy from our 12:30 Team. Grant is one of our Video Producers and has produced literally hundreds of videos for our Worship Media library and Custom clients. Today we’re going to be talking all about Talking Head and Testimony Videos. We’re going to walk through some very basic as well as advanced tips and tricks for shooting those types of videos at your church.
From what gear to use, how to lighting your subject, tips on audio recording, making your subject feel comfortable, how to choose on screen talent and more.
Also on Today’s Show, a veteran Church Media guy who went from serving on a Church Staff to producing feature films – Alex Kendrick will be here. You know Alex from the Kendrick Brother’s movies Fireproof, War Room, Courageous, Overcomer. He and his brother Stephen have a new documentary hitting theaters this week called SHOW ME THE FATHER.
When we talk about how to shoot and craft testimony videos – this is a powerful example of that as the film showcases several fathers and their stories. The film hits theaters September 10th and we’ll be talking with Alex about how they shot the documentary, and what to expect from the film and how you can support it.
