On this week’s episode of the show, we welcome a good friend, John Shelton.
John served on staff with our host, Carl, at Newspring Church where they had a lot of fun together.
They have both since moved on to new adventures. Carl started 12:30 Media in 2015 and John left to serve as a Chaplain and as a minister to pastors – a shepherd to shepherds.
John and his wife Linda founded More 3:20 recently – a non-profit ministry that serves ministry leaders with free counseling and support.
Note from Carl:
“John has been a great counsel to me and my family – you’re going to hear me get a little vulnerable in this episode with some ministry struggles that I’ve had in my past and John and I walk through experiences we both have had and how to deal with them and still survive in our faith and in the ability to serve others.
I hope our openness and honesty will be an encouragement to you if you might be struggling with some of the same things John and I have seen in ministry.”
