This week, we welcome a very special guest back on the show, actress Roma Downey.
Roma played Monica the angel in the CBS series Touched by an Angel airing from 1994 to 2003. She produced the mini-series The Bible for the History Channel and also appeared as Mary, mother of Jesus. She has performed on stage on and off broadway.
She is the President of Lightworkers Media, the faith and family division of MGM. Roma is married to Mark Burnett – who you might know as the producer of such hits as Survivor, Shark Tank, The Apprentice and others.
The Bible mini-series which they produced was watched by over 100 million people in the United States alone. They also produced the remake of Ben Hur, the movie Son of God, Woodlawn, Resurrection, and others.
She is listed by Variety Magazine as one of the 100 most Powerful Women in Hollywood.
Her new book Be An Angel is a devotional book that you can use in your church or in your small groups.
It is a joy to have her back on.
