This week on the podcast, I welcome back my friend Trevor Miller. Trevor serves as the Director of Worship Production at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, a powerhouse, trend-setting church in the Methodist denomination. Trevor lead worship and production staff and volunteers at the church. This week, Trevor and I talk about how to create core values for your production team. Trevor lays out four foundational principles when resetting your team’s most important goals.

In this episode, Trevor gives four foundational principles to consider when creating core values for your team:

1. Consider What You are Aiming At.
2. Make Your Values Clear, Concise, and Memorable.
3. Make Your Values Stick.
4. Make Your Values Visible.

Trevor also gave the Core Values for his Worship and Production Team at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church:

1. People Over Product.
2. Participation is Excellence, but Excellence in Participation.
3. God Inhabits Environments of Expectation.
4. Gathering Together Encourages Depth of Devotion.
