Carl Barnhill is a creative entrepreneur, motion designer and author. He is the Owner and Creative Director of [twelve:thirty]media, a company that serves churches and ministries all over the world through motion graphics content and church media coaching. He is the host of The Church Media Podcast and author of The Ultimate Production Team Handbook. You can find him in Columbia, South Carolina with his wife, Katie and two sons, Jacob and Wesley.

You’ll learn how to create a clear on-ramp for new volunteers, how to create consistent training opportunities, how to create an exciting volunteer culture and more.

Your team will learn the basics of the software, editing slides and lyrics, using transitions, templates and more. Trevor Miller is a graduate of Columbia International University where he earned his degrees in youth ministry, outdoor leadership and Bible. He has a background working in student ministry and currently serves as the Director of Student/Men’s and Young Adult Ministries at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Lexington, SC. Trevor has a passion for creatively communicating the transforming power of the gospel. He and his wife, Jenna, currently reside in Lexington with their 2 boys, Eli and Owen.

Nick Cunningham is the Adult Discipleship Director at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Lexington, South Carolina. He previously served as the teaching pastor at Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City, Ohio. He is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at United Theological Seminary. Nick and his wife, Lindsey, live in Lexington, South Carolina with their three children, Rowan, Gwen, and Selma.
As communicators, we pour hours of energy and effort into crafting a message that we feel our people need to hear, but what happens to it after we share it? In this workshop Nick Cunningham will share some strategies for getting as much mileage as possible out of your messages by creating opportunities for your people to wrestle with it together.
Sometimes there is nothing more intimidating than a blank computer screen or a blank piece of paper. Especially when you are responsible for coming up with something profound to say. In this workshop Nick Cunningham will work to share a few tips and offer some tools that can help make the message crafting process more fruitful and also more enjoyable.
Andy has been involved in Production and Ministry for over 15 years. He started his career touring with multiple Christian music acts as a FOH Engineer and Tour Manager and gained extensive experience in all aspects of A/V/L Production. He transitioned off the road in 2007 to move into full time ministry. Andy has served with multiple churches and has specialized in multi-site strategy and technology, volunteer training and culture, A/V/L Systems management, and service planning.

When executing live worship services and events, things happen – people make mistakes, equipment fails, the unexpected takes place. In this workshop, Andy Blagg will teach your team how to create backup plans and redundancies so that mistakes in your worship experiences don’t turn into distractions for your audience. Andy will walk your team through the best ways to plan for failures to happen and how to create systems to prevent as many mishaps as possible in your live experiences.
David Michael Hyde is a composer and music producer for film and digital media. He graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and has served on-staff and volunteered as a Worship Leader, FOH mix engineer, Technical Arts Director and Operations Manager. David loves to share his passion for live production and brings over 25 years of experience working on-stage and backstage for mobile churches as well as permanent facilities. David and his wife Lisa have been married 25 years and have two talented children, Rebecca and Justus.

In this workshop, David explores God’s biblical plan for artists and equips teams to address many heart issues that can hold us back from experiencing a sustainable and vibrant arts ministry.
