Surviving in Ministry with Chonda Pierce

Show Notes

Show Notes:

In this episode we going to deal with the fact that ministry is hard. Its hard dealing with people. Its hard because of spiritual warfare. And it can be hard because of personal loss. So how do we survive in ministry through the highs and lows. Its the easy Christian answer to say, “Jesus”, but what does that look like in practical way? If you’re a believer, you’re going to struggle. You’re going to have times of doubt.  You’re going to have times of “how do I get through this?” “how do I lead through this?” “how do I keep going in ministry while this is happening to me?”

Accomplished comedian Chonda Pierce is the highest grossing female comedian of all-time. She has been in ministry for over two decades. She is a stand-up comedian, television hostess and author. She is the subject of the recent documentary entitled “Laughing in the Dark”. The film is a behind the scenes journal of her story of making it through in the face of heart-wrenching loss and depression. She has lived out what it means to survive in ministry. The documentary is now available on DVD and you can go to chondamovie.com to pick up today.
