Wisdom from Veteran Worship Leaders (Part Three): Exclusive Interview with Greg Long of Avalon

Carl Barnhill

You might be thinking – you guys at Twelve:Thirty are all about helping me Transform my Worship Experience, why do you do interviews and podcasts with Christian Music Artists?

The answer is simple: A Christian music concert is a Worship Experience.

These artists spend their lives writing and performing music on stage in front of thousands. They are intricately involved in planning set designs, production, media content, set lists, and hundreds of other details for the experiences they create. They are Worship Leaders. And we can learn from them.

I had the opportunity to chat with veteran artist and Worship Leader Greg Long of the group Avalon about his career, his music, Avalon’s concert experiences and their upcoming tour with several other veteran artists.

Greg and his wife Janna are not only members of Avalon, but serve as Worship Leaders at the Woodlands Church in The Woodlands, TX.

Check it out.
