Worshipping through Tragedy with Josh Havens of The Afters

Steve Dirks

Recently, I had the privilege of interviewing Joshua Havens and Matt Fuqua with the band the Afters about how we worship through the tragedy we all experience in life. This was such an encouraging time with both these guys as they shared about what God has taught them about leading and worshipping personally. As you listen to this I hope you are first of all encouraged to lead in your church with an authentic openness with the people around you. We all need each other, we can’t make it being one man or woman shows.  Secondly, I hope you are challenged to be more open and honest about the tough stuff happening in your life with the people whom you serve with and lead in your church.  If you haven’t listened to any of the music by the Afters I would also recommend you pull it up on a playlist and enjoy.

You can also hear more about their story at theafters.com

No matter what area of ministry you are serving in at your church this interview will challenge you to press deeper into Christ and your relationship with those He has put around you.
